Counting down the days to Christmas!!!!!!

I went in my bathroom this evening after grocery shopping and this is what I was greeted with (taped to my mirror)! Just in case you can't see what it says, There is a note from each one of our girls that says Mom and Dad Christmas list with their names. It's so hard to believe that we only have 7 weeks left until Christmas. Guess who hasn't purchased the first gift??????

What would we do without friends?

Loving the new background and organization of my blog. I am definitely illiterate when it comes to technology. Special thanks to one of my  favorites, Bonnie Bradley........YOU ARE THE BEST.  Maybe one day I'll figure out how to do it for myself!

Is it too late to update?

This afternoon we went to Murray's Mill to take some fall pics. It was cooooolllld, but, the kids did a great job!

I've created a monster (hoping for a few more)!

So last night something crazy clicked in my brain and I began to do some deep cleaning in the kitchen. I mean organizing cabinets, scrubbing floors, cleaning blinds, microwave, stove.....yadda yadda yadda you get the picture. As I was cleaning I began to think hmmmmm..... I wonder what the rest of my house is doing. So I snapped a few pics and this is what I found.

Kayli was in her bathroom scrubbing. I have to admit I was so proud.

Lydia and Zane were on the couch watching Good luck Charlie.

Annnnnddddd Daddy was preparing the message for today!

All in all everyone was doing what they usually do. I have to admit I wish the other two children would do some impromptu cleaning. Thankfully Kayli has caught on!

Science Project

This week the girls completed their first 4H/ Science Project!

Kayli did hers on making hair bows. "Bows by Bug" (bug being her nickname).

Lydia made pot holders. "Looming by Lydia!"

Today started out as a very hectic day. School was crazy, chores need to be done, and all of the other things going on. I was in the bathroom (just to be honest)Zane came pushing in the door, I instantly told him to get out. Much to my surprise he listened. It wasn't a minute later until he came back in. He said mom I have to tell you something in the ear. I said what son? He started weeping and said I NEED TO BE SAVED! I said buddy what do you mean and what made you think of that? He said it just came into my mind and wouldn't go away. He said mom I don't want to go to hell. So being the person I am I was asking him all of the questions and looking for all the answers. As I was asking the questions he began to cry harder I said son what's wrong. He said I DON'T WANT TO GO TO HELL (as in to say HURRY UP). He prayed and cried out to God to come in his heart and save him. I'm so thankful I know where he's headed. Thank you Jesus!

Just an update

ISo we r currently waiting on our house to b ready. Our official move in date is Monday, however, we r at thay point where we say how in the world ate they going to finish everything they promised. Which would include flooring downstairs, light fixtures upstairs and black top on the driveway. This is very nerve racking. I just have to look ahead and say thank u Lord for all u have done for us. I mean seriously who am I to question the God of the universe. Everything works for our good and His glory. o by the way if anyone is reading this, I am typing this out on my phone. so it may come across more as a text than a post. Anyway, everyone have a very blessed day!
